【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversallsingle-useclinicalthermometerprobecoversandsheathsintendedforusewithanyclinicalthermometer.Requirementsaregivenforsafety,toxicity,handling,labeling,andphysicalintegrity.Testingproceduresforappropriaterequirementsandaglossaryoftermsusedwithinthestandardsareprovided.1.2Therequirementscontainedhereinareintendedtoensureadequateisolationofthepatientfromthetemperature-measuringdevice.Inaddition,thesafetyandhealthofthepatientshallnotbeadverselyaffected.Whenusedinaccordancewiththemanufacturersinstructions,theprobecover,sheath,andtemperaturemeasuringdeviceshallremitcorrecttemperaturereadingsasrequiredinSpecificationsE667andE1112.
