【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodfordeterminingthedrawingandbreakcharacteristicsofmoltenplastics.Themethodinvolvesthemeasurementoftheforcegeneratedindeformingamoltenfilamentunderdefinedextrusiontemperatureanddrawingconditions.Dataisgeneratedundernon-isothermalandnon-homogeneousdeformationconditions.However,itisusefulfortheinterpretationofpolymerbehaviourinextensionalflow.Themethodissuitableforthermoplasticsmouldingandextrusionmaterialsthatcanbeextrudedusingacapillaryextrusionrheometer,oranextruderwithcapillaryroddieorotherextrusiondevices,andhavesufficientmeltstrengthtobehandledwithoutdifficulty.Suchmaterialsshouldbechemicallystableandproduceauniformextrudatefreefromheterogeneities,bubbles,unmeltedimpurities,etc.Thismethodmayprovideinformationon:—processabilityforallextrusiontechniques;—theeffectofmechanicalandthermalhistory;—theeffectofchemicalstructure,suchasbranching,entanglementsandmolecularmass.Thistechniqueisoneofanumberoftechniquesthatcanbeusedtomeasuretheextensionalflowbehaviourofamaterial.Thismethodofmeasurementdoesnotnecessarilyreproducethedrawingconditionstowhichthermoplasticsaresubjectedtoduringtheirprocessing.
